About Me

My name is Dana Aftyka, Dana Artyka is my clever art alias. I am a traditional fine artist, specializing in acrylic painting. I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts: Painting. Art has always been my passion, and I've been running my small business since 2019. While I work full-time overnight shifts, I spend the rest of my time creating art and making videos. My ultimate dream is to turn art into a full-time career. I offer a range of services including personalized pet portraits, commissions, original artwork, prints, hand-painted ornaments, decor and much more.
